Weekly Prayer Needs
Praises
-Praise our God who gives rest for our souls, quiets our hearts and gives us hope for eternity (Psalm 131).
-Praise Jesus, our perfection, through Whom we can live together in peace, receiving the blessing of living in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:21–48).
-Praise our Lord who is the source of our fellowship in one spirit, one faith and one hope. Praise Him for the encouragement and growth of our faith He builds each week as we meet together.
-Praise Jesus for His faithful work in the children of our church. Praise Him for the faith He is building in each one of them, and pray that they will continue to place their full trust in Him in every area of their lives.
Pray for Sunday Services
A.M.— Guest Preacher Dave Helm will share “Lessons for Those Who Would Lead” from
Joshua 5:12–15.
P.M.— Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Pray for our Community
-For the annual meeting this Sunday. That many members would attend and that we would be unified in Christ, through healthy discussion guided by our Heavenly Father.
-For the many summer ministries in preparation, especially for children and STARS. That volunteers would be plentiful and that God would be glorified in our efforts.
-For students to finish the academic year well, with focus and diligence.
-Continue to pray for the Simply Christ discussion group and Newcomers Class that just began. Pray that new people will feel Christ’s welcoming love among us and would come to know Him personally.
