STARS Family Retreat at Grizzly Jack's Resort
STARS families young and old are warmly invited to share in a weekend of fun in the sun and the waterpark, fellowship with other STARS families, and of course, much-needed relaxation.

FRIDAY, MAY 22
Arrive at Grizzly Jack’s when you can. STARS Bus will leave from College Church at 5:30 p.m. Priority seating will be given to single moms. Eat before you come!

SATURDAY, MAY 23
9:00 A.M. Breakfast with STARS Families
Announcements and guides distributed
Family Time (all day)
5:30 P.M. Potluck Cookout with STARS Families at Starved Rock
8:30 P.M. Bonfire with S’mores

SUNDAY, MAY 24
10:15 A.M. Worship time together
11:30 A.M. Sunday Lunch with STARS Families
Family Time (all afternoon)
6:00 P.M. Parents Night Out (till 9 p.m.)

MONDAY, MAY 25
11:30 A.M. Lunch with STARS Families
Room check-out is at 11 a.m. but feel free to stay throughout the day; resort facilities are still available on the day of check-out.

You will receive a complete packet in the mail after you register (around May 1) with directions, exact accommodations, a final schedule, final amount due (including additional scholarship money), and resort information so you can plan your weekend.

The Cost Includes...
3 nights accommodation in a log-cabin style villa or a hotel room, either on your own or shared with another family.

3 catered meals together with the STARS families, plus a Bring-Your-Own-Food cookout at Starved Rock. You’re free to do as you please for other meals—bring your own food, shop for food nearby or eat at the Grizzly Jack’s restaurant or those the nearby town of Utica has to offer.

Access to the resort’s amenities, which include (but are not limited to): indoor waterpark and amusement park, train rides, miniature golfing*
*First round free
