HELPING HANDS
Hands of Care in Times of Need

Helping Hands is an important "behind the scenes" organization designed to meet various physical needs of people in the church. Participating in the Helping Hands Ministry provides a wonderful opportunity to show love to people in our community through acts of service.

Some examples...

  • drive an elderly person to a doctor’s appointment
  • cook a meal for a family bringing home a new baby
  • buy groceries for a single woman home from surgery on bed rest
  • sit and talk with an elderly shut-in
  • help an elderly person pack for a move
  • sleep over at the home of a young child whose parents are at the hospital delivering a new baby

Volunteers serve based on their availability—an hour or two or even overnight, once a year, once a month or once a week. Contact Sasha Brady if you are interested in getting involved, or if you are in need of a helping hand.
