MISSIONS FESTIVALS

Spring Missions Festival

February 25-March 1, 2011
Love Your Immigrant Neighbor

Jesus said, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”*

His story of the Good Samaritan teaches us to love our neighbors whoever they may be.* Rich or poor. Black or white. American or foreign born. Jesus also commissioned his followers to “make disciples of all nations.”* Through immigration and international education, God is bringing the world to us.

The proclamation of the gospel to every nation, tribe, people and language group on earth can happen in our neighborhood. As the demographics of our community continue to change, how do we, as Christians, respond to these changes?

Our Spring Missions Festival will address this issue from a biblical perspective as we consider our calling to love our immigrant neighbor.

*Mark 12:31; Luke 10:25-37; Matt 28:19
